dada · Posted on November 26, 2024November 27, 2024

In this #LordsPrayer poetic fantasy version of events, God exacts vengeance upon humanity by elevating a divisive celebrity from a reality TV show — best known for his bombastic personality and employment of social media — to the US presidency. It could never happen of course.

Disconnected 🎬 🔊 ♬ ✍ 💬
dada · Posted on November 2, 2024November 4, 2024

Inspired by the Banksy work ‘Mobile Lovers’ this spoken word/musical production poses the question: has our always connected age made us connected to the ‘machine’ but less connected to each other? We don’t gaze into the eyes. We gaze, instead, at the screen because we are becoming afflicted with a chronic disease caused by ‘technoference’.

Just Tell Me a Story ♬ ✍
dada · Posted on October 26, 2024November 4, 2024

Just Tell Me a Story explores shifting identities, narrative manipulation, narrative selection and narrative preferences; all creating an ocean of distorted news and misinformation we now have to swim or drown in.

Humans appear hard-wired for stories. But sometimes it’s the story-tellers who hardwire our brains.

Freedom’s Dark Mirror ✍ 💬
dada · Posted on October 20, 2024November 4, 2024

An illustrated poem about Freedom. It is a slippery concept. At a surface level everyone just ‘knows’ it is a good thing and so on that basis, some would argue, you can never have too much of it. However …
